A.P. Birks first planted wines at the legendary Wendouree Estate in 1892, a period of expansion for the Clare Valley wine industry. 130 vintages later the styles have not changed, nor the viticultural or winemaking methods.

These wines are an iron fist in a velvet glove. Intense but elegant.

The Watervale Hotel Wendouree Degustation matches individually plated dishes matched to six Wendouree Wines held in the 'Hell Hole's jail built in 1868. It is a 'bucket list's experience ideal for groups of
friends, corporate or professional groups; made even better if you book the Watervale Hotel Guesthouse for accommodation. Available for either lunch or dinner, bookings essential.

The wines will change with availability over time, but they will follow a consistent pattern.

The dishes designed by Nicola will also change over time with seasonality, but be matched to the wines nevertheless.

Available for booking ANY night of the year, except Christmas:

$500 per person Minimum 10 guests, Maximum 20.
