Perth Scuba, a leading scuba diving center in Greater Perth, WA, offers an exciting PADI Advanced Diver Course that allows you to increase your knowledge and skills while exploring the underwater world. This course is an ideal follow-on to the Open Water course, providing you with more experience and confidence in scuba diving.

The PADI Advanced Diver Course consists of five dives, including two core dives (Navigation and Deep, up to 30m) and three elective dives. The elective dives include Wreck, Photography, Fish ID, Search and Recovery, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat Diver, and Naturalist, among others. You can choose the dives that interest you the most, and the group will decide on the dives at the commencement of the course.

During the course, you will learn essential skills such as navigation, deep diving, and night diving. The night dive is usually the third dive, where you will learn the important things about planning night dives and diving your plan using a dive torch.

The course schedule includes a weekday course and a weekend course. The weekday course consists of two shore dives on Day 1, a night dive on Day 1, and two boat dives on Day 2. The weekend course consists of two shore dives, a night dive on Day 1, and two boat dives on Day 2.

To participate in the PADI Advanced Diver Course, you must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organization), be 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver), and have a current diving medical if required.

Perth Scuba provides all the necessary equipment for the course, including BCD, wetsuit, regulator, cylinder, mask, snorkel, and fins. However, you must have your dive slate, safety sausage, knife, dive torch for night dives, and glow stick for the night dive.
