The Hike Collective invites you to join them on a memorable 7km hiking journey through the breathtaking Kings Park & Botanic Garden in the heart of Greater Perth, Western Australia. This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the stunning flora of the Kings Park bushland, enjoy glorious views of the Swan River and Mt Eliza escarpment, and learn about the area's rich history.

During the hike, you will discover the stories of Kings Park from early times, visit the Gija Jumulu, a 750-year-old Boab tree, and wander along the Boodja Gnarning walk trail that highlights the diverse methods of survival used by Nyoongar people in the south-west of Western Australia. The hike also includes a breathtaking walk through the treetops along the Lottery West Federation Walkway, also known as the 'glass bridge,' featuring striking artwork that celebrates Aboriginal Culture and the magnificent trees of the Swan Coastal Plain.

Your ticket includes a guided 7km hike, historical stories, an exclusive experience of Kings Park, and a friendly, first aid trained tour guide. After the hike, you can enjoy some coffee and cake (not included) at the local cafes.

To prepare for the hike, wear comfortable clothes, sturdy trainers or shoes, and bring plenty of water, a personal first aid kit, and cash or card. Public toilets are available in Kings Park.

This hike is a grade 2 and suitable for families with children. No bushwalking or hiking experience is required. These trails tend to be on hard or compacted surfaces, with a small amount of loose surface. Due to distance, a basic level of fitness is recommended.
