Discover the beauty of Araluen Botanic Park on a 4.5 km hike, an exclusive experience offered by The Hike Collective in Greater Perth, WA. This magnificent trail takes you through the natural bushlands of one of Perth's most beautiful gardens, with trails leading to the dam and back through the manicured gardens.

Your ticket includes a start-to-finish guided hike with The Hike Collective's trained hike leaders who will provide you with an exclusive look at Araluen, as they are the only hiking tour operator with access to the park's entire area. The hike leaders carry communication devices and first aid kits for your safety. The hike is a moderate green trail with some hills and gradient changes, making it a great opportunity for a short distance hike on multiple surfaces.

Meet your hike leaders just inside the main gate of Araluen, where you can collect your armband and get checked in for your hike. Normal gate entry fees do not apply as The Hike Collective has a special access opportunity with Araluen. Please look for your hike leaders to organize the entry!

Bring plenty of water, comfortable clothes, sturdy trainers or hiking boots, personal first aid kit, and snacks/morning tea to enjoy at the end. Public toilets are available in Araluen, and as it is a botanical garden, no pets are allowed.

This hike is a grade 2, and no hiking experience is required. The trail has an uphill gradient for the first section and then evens out for a beautiful, relatively flat experience. Towards the end, you have the opportunity to rest or head up the hill to the rose gardens.
