The Mason & Bird Heritage Trail follows the route of an 1870s tramway that transported jarrah timber from Mason's Mills to the Canning River. Along the way, you'll see Australia's oldest wooden bridge, the Munday Brook Bridge, and the first Western Australian dam, the New Victoria Dam. The rich history of this trail will inspire you as you learn about Australia's pioneer heritage.

To prepare for your hike, wear hiking shoes or comfortable trainers, bring a water bottle, sun protection, and a hat. Hiking poles are optional. This hike is a grade 2, and no hiking experience is required.
