Snorkeling is done in open ocean on coral atolls that rise from various depths and reach within 2 to 6M from the surface. In some areas, the entry from the boat may be in 12m deep water, requiring a snorkel over to the shallower areas. The surface conditions can be choppy at times, and Level 2 snorkeling is required.
